Heavenly Tresses Silk Top Base come is available in Transparent, Light Brown, Medium Brown and Dark Brown Important things to know about Silk top lace wigs. Most people love the natural part a silk top lace wigs gives however, there are a couple things you need to know before you purchase a silk top lace wig.
1. The Silk top material is approximately 4 by 4 inch of silk material in the center of the crown area. The silk material does not cover the entire wig unless you order
2. The Silk top material begins approximately 1/2 to 1 centimeter away from the hairline as shown in the picture below. This means, there is 1/2 to 1 centimeter of Swiss lace before the silk top begins.
SILK TOP SIZES
Our Silk Top Bases are available in 5 different sizes: 4"x 4", 5"x 5", 6"x 6" Full Silk Based Cap. The sizes listed below determine the amount coverage of the silk base.
Whatever size you choose the silk material begins approximately 1/2 a centimeter from the hairline. (There is 1/2 a centimeter of Swiss Lace before the silk top begins). All of the Virgin Lace wigs can be custom made to to add the silk base option to them.

Standard Silk Base size in stock and ready to ship. Has just enough coverage to part the hair in the middle, on the side, & off center, which is where most clients part their hair. goes back 4" from hairline and across 4".
5" x 5" or 6" x 6"
We recommend the 5" x 5" or 6" x 6" sizes for clients who may want to achieve a deeper side parting or flat twist or braid the front area of their hair. It has a larger parting area in the front.

Full Silk Based Cap, they are typically recommended to the veteran lace wig wearer and very discerning client who may want lots of styling options and parting options from hairline all the way to the nape. This is also perfect for clients who have complete hair loss, or medical needs etc and in need of a total hair replacement system. For the best coverage, we recommend a full silk base unit it is a little pricey but It is well worth the investment.
